The Orchard and Meditation Cottage

The Orchard is a large area in the center of campus. At it’s center is a walking path through fruit trees between Quaker Center’s office and staff residences and the Orchard Lodge. Also along the path are Quaker Center’s gardens along with a stage, playground and rope swing.

The Meditation Cottage is a small building tucked away in the wooded area behind the parking lot adjacent to the Orchard Lodge. A single round room with a wide window offers a place for comtemplation and spiritual reflection.

The Casa de Luz and Redwood Circle

The Casa de Luz is a large meeting space at the high point of the Quaker Center property with views over the surrounding valley. The Casa has large windows along it’s eastern face to capture the morning rays of the sun in a single large circular room with cushions and chairs for guests. High-speed wifi, and an adjacent restroom and shower, and an extensive porch make it an ideal meeting space. It is heated by wood stove.

Just below the Casa, The Redwood Circle is a popular location for outdoor meetings, weddings and other ceremonies. A natural ‘fairy’ circle is accompanied by rustic benches for guests with an available power supply for speakers and other electronic needs. The Redwood Circle is reserved separately.
